Home Club of  Past District Governor Hal Griffin - 2000-2001

Program: Each Week covering topics of local and regional interest.

Programs and Agencies Supported:

• Sight Conservation.

• Texas Lions Camp - serving physically disabled children.

• Lions Organizations.

• Civic Organizations.

Fundraisers:

• Annual Cactus Lions Spaghetti Supper (February each year)

• Abilene Cactus Lions Club's  Neighborhood Flag Project

Abilene's community involvement has ensured the success of our fund raisers.

District Governor's Youth Outreach Programs:

MD-2 encourages district and club outreach programs by conducting contests for young people titled; Diabetic Essay Contest, Drug Awareness Speech Contest, Outstanding Youth Award Contest and Young Women’s Scholar/Pageant, "State Contests."

Membership:

Visiting Lions and guests are always welcome.
